In this 8 week workshop, students will work with images and sounds to assemble a dramatic story for online presentation. The class will focus on visual composition, narrative skills and the study of documentary photography. We will learn how to work with sounds, technically but also creatively from the recording to the editing, in order to complement and give force to our visual storytelling. While documenting the city, each student will have the opportunity to use their recorded materials, photographs and sounds, to tell their own stories. This class encourages students to explore new neighborhoods as well as their creative minds.
