In this session 7 of the Silk Screen Workshop, we were printing our designs and finishing burning our screens for printing next week.

Students were working in 4 printing stations, 2 of them were for paper and cotton fabric (shirts and bags). We worked in teams of 2 and 3 students to help each other for printing. It was an excellent teamwork with the teacher Alex and the students, who, knowing more about the screen printing technique, they felt confident in trying new alternatives to print and making their designs.

The students felt secure for printing: choosing the size, and color of the paper to use for printing. Some of them used flat colors for their prints, others ventured to play more with the technique and tried to mix colors on the same screen according to their design.

We would like to congratulate you once again for the great teamwork done during this final printing session.

We would also like to remind you that the following session: Sunday, February 4, will be the last class of the screen printing workshop and the schedule has been extended: 12 pm to 5 pm. That day will be the last day on which you can print your designs.

The field trip was postponed for a future date, so you’ll have more time to print your designs calmly and enjoying that final creative process.

Please remember last class celebration and closing of this workshop:
