다섯째주(Week 5): 배접하기

 

 

준비 과정:
두 장의 합판을 준비합니다.
(Processed and prepared two pieces of plywood will be given.)
준비한 합판을 여러겹의 뉴스프린트 종이로 감싸줍니다.
(Plywood will be covered with newsprint in multiple layers.)

배접 기법 (Baejup: Backing technique):

배접기법은 동양전통 그림에서 진행되는 필수 과정입니다. 수강생들은 밀가루 풀을 사용하여 각각 다른 그림을 연결합니다. 또한 배접기법은 종이를 단단하게 하여 더욱 오래 보관할 수 있게 해줍니다.

–‘Baejup’ is one of the first processes to mount a painting in traditional way in Asia. Using wheat glue, students will   learn how to adhere another piece of paper on back of a painting to preserve and prepare for a framing

* 재료: 밀가루 풀, 풀을 바를 붓, 배접에 사용할 붓, 종이, 분무기

Material: wheat glue, backing brush, flat brush for wheat glue, backing paper, water sprayer.

합판(Hard cover) 제작 중 표면이 마르기를 기다리는 동안, 선택한 그림에 뒷감을 덧대기 시작합니다. 재료의 가능 여부에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다.

While waiting the hard cover dried, they can begin Baejup of their selected artworks for a journal, depending on availability of materials.
