Week 1: DIY in Spanish; Introduction

During the first class of “do it yourself in Spanish” students created their first visual instructable game.

During this introductory class we reviewed basic guidelines to improve image capturing. The goal improve how students take photos to create better documentation of the things they love doing. We went over how to use the iPad camera and how to quickly improve color using the iPad.

The students are Spanish speaking adults from different nationalities in Latin America. The group was split in two.

One group choose to document hopscotch and the other one chose a game they named letrolato. Each group used discussed together the rules of the game and then they wrote the basic steps followed by trying to tell the story with a photo sequence.
