Make!Do! ; week 6

Today at our workshop, we want to explore the idea of projects that were built around learning and teaching with tutorials — projects that are built to share and teach people how to make the same things.  And the students began to think about how to document their projects – Using images and words.  When, and what to take a picture when they are working on something that can help explain their process and help the audience to gain better understand of the projects – using project documentation as a way of storytelling.

Today we have two speakers  :  Dave was here to talk about what are the resources and online shops are here to help us prototype hardwares; Dave also talk about the Little Bits where he works as a designer to design tutorial projects on new products.  He showed a bit about a community of Maker Nurse that DIY the medical equipments using readily available materials and LEGO kits.

Carrol Tavera showed us some of the most beautiful work she did . She talked about how photography is used to document people’s story and had helped create her connection with the people she meet. She also shared some techniques in documenting projects with photography.
