MEMORY,HISTORY IN ZINES AND ARCHIVES – Final Week 11/22/15

During our last class, students put the final touches on their books and bound the copies of their books for trading.

After all the books for finalized, students headed to the gallery to do a short artist presentation about their books. Lots of friends and families attended and students explained how they created their books and why they decided to make books about immigration or the Cultural Revolution.

After the presentations, students went upstairs where they traded copies of books with one another, ate snacks, chatted and received their certificates of excellence during our graduation ceremony.

It was a great six week with students and I am excited to see the wonderful pieces of art and writing they’ve created. I am looking forward to working with my students again!Archive
