Miguel Luciano

image001Miguel is a multidisciplinary artist that lives and work in NYC since 1994, his work include Printmaking, installation and paintings. He was awarded the Bluhdorn scholarship to study illustration at Parsons School of Design.

Luciano is an active member of  “Dominican York Proyecto Grafica” a printmakers collective of artist of Dominican descent  which mission is to advance the state  of contemporary Dominican American graphic arts through collaborations, workshops, lectures and exhibitions.

Luciano has exhibited nationally and internationally in group shows and collaborations  such as “The Colony” at MOMA PS1 with a sundial, Art director for “El paper magazine” produced by Local Project, Gráfica de la República Dominicana, Curated by Graciela Kartofel  JEX –Jardín de las Esculturas – IVECXalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. Nov-2012 Feb-2013. Art From The Dominican Republic, and Latin America, ETNIA VII, Brussels, Liege, Nivelles and Tournai. 2011-12. Elaxpo 2011, a and Espace Wallonie, Brussels, Belgium and The Cultural Center of theNeumünster Abbey, Luxemburgo.
