Esta fue la sexta y última clase del Curso de Paisaje Acuarela en la Biblioteca Pública de Corona, Queens. Los estudiantes llegaran temprano para esta última clase. Fueron conscientes de la oportunidad de finalizar su proyecto anterior, comenzar un nuevo proyecto final y ver a sus compañeros de la comunidad con una culminación de celebración del curso. Todos los estudiantes trajeron comida y bebidas para celebrar.

Cualquier finalización de proyectos anteriores se hizo rápidamente al comienzo de la clase. Todos los estudiantes querían hacer un paisaje final de acuarela antes de que terminara la clase. La mayoría de los estudiantes trabajaron en varios proyectos. Para maximizar la producción, los estudiantes estaban haciendo sobre todo piezas de arte de tamaño pequeño y mediano. Hubo cuatro estudiantes que dedicaron su tiempo a trabajar en gran formato.

Los estudiantes demostraron estar muy comprometidos con el proceso de creacion de arte. Durante los últimos 15 minutos de la clase losparticipantes departieron en la celebración que termino poco despues. Tuvieron dificultades para abandonar el proceso de creación artística, por lo que comieron la comida y las bebidas mientras hacían arte. Estaba claro que los estudiantes querían continuar y lo harían en casa en su tiempo libre. Constantemente expresaron su entusiasmo por mostrar su arte en el Museo de Queens, y no puedo esperar a ver a mis alumnos nuevamente.

This was the sixth and final class of the Watercolor Landscape Course at the Corona, Queens Public Library. Students were arriving early for this last class. They were aware of the opportunity to finalize their previous project, start a new final project, and to see their community classmates with a celebratory culmination to the course. All of the students brought food and drinks to celebrate.

Any finalization of previous projects was done quickly at the beginning of the class. All of the students wanted to make one final watercolor landscape before the class ended. Most of the students worked on various projects. To maximize production, the students were making mostly small and medium size art pieces. There were four students that dedicated their time to work on large format.

The students were very much engaged into the art making process. During the last 15 minutes of the class the students started the celebration. They had a hard time letting go of the art making process, so they ate the food and the drinks while making art. It was clear that the students wanted to continue, and they would at home on their free time. They constantly expressed their excitement to show their art at the Queens Museum, and I can’t wait to see my students again.
