Come and join us on a Soundwalk!

Soundwalk is an international collective based in NYC producing audio guides that mix fiction and reality to provide an exclusive and poetic discovery of a city. During this tour, participants will use iPods provided by QMA to access the Soundwalk audio tour, and walk around the streets of this exciting neighborhood, visiting factories, warehouses and huge artist lofts in DUMBO. Sandra will also guide participants to record surrounding sound or their experiences of the tour.

Sandra Drávila is a New York based artist and educator with vast experience in developing websites in English and Spanish. Ms. Dávila uses technology to explore new ways of expression and communication, and has a deep interest in how digital technology can foster cultural understanding.

Soundwalk es un colectivo artístico radicado en Nueva York que se dedica a producir guías audio-visuales que juntan la realidad y el cuento para evocar la exploración creativa de nuestra ciudad. Durante este tour los participantes utilizarán iPods provistos por el museo para accesar los audio tours de Soundwalk y navegar las diversas factorías, almacenes y talleres del área. La instructora también les ayudará a grabar sus experiencias usando dichos iPods.

Sandra Dávila es una artista y diseñadora radicada en Nueva York con amplia experiencia diseñando y desarrollando sitios Web tanto en inglés como en español. La Srta. Dávila usa la tecnología para explorar diferentes medios expresivos y fomentar la comprensión entre diferentes culturas.
