Queridos New NewYorkers,
En esta segunda sesión continuamos con HTML y revisamos los enlaces: los cuales nos permiten movernos de una página web a otra y poder navegar.
Tenemos varios tipos de enlace:
- Enlaces a otras páginas web con la opción de abrir este enlace en una página nueva.
- Enlaces para enviar un correo electrónico.
- Enlaces a otras partes de la misma página web como por ejemplo cuando queremos darle click a una imagen, la cual se vinculara a otro sitio web.
Vimos también como agregar logotipos de los medios sociales como por ejemplo: Twitter.
Luego tuvimos una introducción al CSS. Aprendimos a usar los colores para el texto, como cambiar el color de fondo y de las letras.
Entonces nosotros crearemos la estructura en HTML y con CSS la decoraremos.
Nuevamente queremos felicitarlos por llegar temprano, y por estar en muy buena disposición para el trabajo continuo durante la clase.
Así mismo les queremos recordar que cada conocimiento nuevo, nos ayudara a entender y aplicar el segundo y el próximo que vendrá. Por eso, les rogamos estar muy atentos a clase y en la medida de lo posible, mantener el tono de voz bajo durante la misma, ya que hay alumnos que necesitan estar muy concentrados para captar conocimientos nuevos.
Les agradecemos de antemano su muy buena disposición para la clase y el trabajo individual.
Por favor, para los alumnos que aún no tienen su tarjeta de la biblioteca, acercarse el mismo día unos 10 minutos antes para procesar su tarjeta y tenerla lo antes posible. Solo necesitan un ID y una prueba de dirección (recibo de luz o teléfono a su nombre), es un trámite sencillo y gratuito.

In this second session, we continue with HTML and reviewed links: which allow us to move from one web page to another and be able to navigate.
We have several types of link:
- Links to other web pages with the option to open this link in a new page.
- Links to send an email.
- Links to other parts of the same web page, for example, when we want to click on an image, which will be open into another website.
We also saw how to add social media logos such as Twitter.
Then we had an introduction to CSS. We learned to use colors for text, such as changing the background color and the letters.
So remember that we’ll create the structure in HTML and we are going to use CSS for decorating it.
Again we would like to congratulate you for arriving early, and for being in a very good disposition for the hard work during the class.
We also would like to remind you that each new knowledge will help us to understand and apply the second one and the next that will come. Therefore, we ask you to be very focused to class and if is possible, keep the tone of your voice low during each session, due there are students who need to be much focused to capture new knowledge.
