Printmaking, Beyond Basic – Week 6, final class

Last Sunday, We gathered to celebrate the end of the Printmaking Beyond Basics Workshop. We spent half of the class working on our final project and/or printing using either a baren or the printing press. We saw handsome prints that looked even more beautiful on printmaking paper.

We used 3 different kind of papers:
• Rives BFK (100% cotton, acid-free, soft-sized, and buffered)

• Jasutomo Japanese Rice Paper.

We also spent some time sharing a set of delicious snacks offered by the Queens Museum New New Yorkers Program and catered by our wonderful café “The August Tree”. And some people brought delicious snacks too. While enjoying the food, our participants received certificates of completion.

The New New Yorkers Program, Guido and I thank you all for being part of these series of workshops, for being always open to learn and try new things. We look forward to seeing you all in future workshops. Also we would like to invite you to join our Family Programs workshops on weekends to enjoy art making workshops for children and adults.

I hope you have enjoyed this workshop as much as I did, preparing it for you all.
Thanks! !Gracias! Xièxiè
Happy Printing!
Michelle.

• Rives BFK (100% cotton, acid-free, soft-sized, and buffered)

Thanks! !Gracias! Xièxiè
¡Disfruten haciendo grabado!
