SELF PORTRAIT SERIES; WEEK 8

Today, the students began our workshop by sitting in a circle to work with a wonderful dancer, Amy Miller, from the Gibney Dance.

We invited Amy to do a movement session to help the students to feel more comfortable with their body, and to be more aware of their movement, and eventually to explore an unexpected thing or two about how they use their own body.
After the movement session, the students presented to the group of their work in progress.  I was especially interested in the issues they had encountered when their were working on self-tracking and the process of making their work, and how they problem-solved.

      我們邀請Amy進行律動的課程, 幫助學員們多了解與坦然的對待自己的身體,和多去注意自己的動作,最終能發展超乎預期的事物,或如何開發使用自我的身體潛質。
      律動課程結束後,學生發表目前的進度,我特別感興趣他們在自我追蹤和創作過程時所遭遇到的問題,以及如何解決製作過程中所發生的難題。
