CHRISTMAS CARDS POP-UP TECHNIQUE WORKSHOP – DECEMBER 22

English below

Queridos New NewYorkers

Excelente trabajo!!

Dear New NewYorkers,

We held a card workshop using the 3D / Pop-Up technique as part of the Christmas celebration. This technique consists of making cuts to the paper and folding them so that when we open the card, the design that we have inside, can go out of the base paper in 3 dimensions.

To give us an idea of what the 3D / Pop-Up technique is about ,  and what we can do with it, we observed two short videos about of two books that were made using this technique.

Both books had the same theme: the inventions of Leonardo Da Vinci.

In addition, the students took home printed material with the instructions of the  basic cuts of the Pop-Up technique, which are used in most of the designs.

It was a pleasure to have you in this session: whole families participated: parents and children sharing time together, developing their abilities and creativity.

Congratulations to all the participants. Well done!
